Today, I wore my full scouts uniform to CCA in school.Having done that, the troop had uniform inspection first thing in the morning, and with physical training right after that. Next we had ice breaker games where the new secondary ones and us got to know each other better.
The climax of the meeting only came after that, where we went to do activities such as 'flying fox' and 'tree climbing'. The tower of the flying fox is made out of logs tired together just outside school but was safe as there were the same safety gears being used at the secondary one orientation camp. The ride down the flying fox was exhilarating and we all were made to crash into a man-made mud pile. After getting all dirty in mud, I felt that I was in-tune with nature and I had a time of my life.
I was dead tired by the time I went home as we had to pack up after all the fun. It was a great day and I hope that there will be more outdoor activities in future meetings.
Signing off,
